The Board of Directors of the Lower Flathead Valley Community Foundation is dedicated to protecting the investments of its contributors by making wise investment decisions and applying sound principles to its investment portfolio.

The experience and background of the board is key to making quality, community-minded financial decisions.

The permanent endowment fund exists to benefit non-profit organizations and their worthwhile projects locally. By using only the interest and dividends from the fund, all the corpus of the endowment will remain for the benefit of future generations.

Discretionary funds are used from time to time for special projects when the funds are available.

Larger grant applications are discussed and evaluated at quarterly meetings with full board consideration. Smaller applications are evaluated and determined by executive committee decision.
